Actor Information

Touring with The Great Lakes Touring Theater is a unique opportunity to grow as an artist and sharpen your skill set. Comprised of three actors, each cast is on the road from early September to mid November performing a 45-minute show at elementary schools three times a day, Monday through Friday. Each actor must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's licence with a relatively clean record. After each performance, actors must lead a brief question and answer session with the students, as well as set up and strike the minimal props and easily assembled set pieces. Typically the age range of GLTT actors is from 21-26. We seek very well trained, mature, reliable, responsible, honest individuals who are able to work with little or no direct supervision. All transportation and lodging provided by the company. Ideal for recent college graduates who are ready to get to work.


Auditions are held around the Midwest every June and July. Actors are required to have (1) two minute comedic monologue prepared for audition. Please submit headshot and resume to:
